PERMITS VALID FOR:
Single trip permits are valid for three (3) travel days.
Loads 13’6 wide or over and/or over 14’ high can travel Tuesday through Thursday,
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
OPERATING TIME
One-half hour after sunrise to one-half hour before sunset, loads 13’6” wide or over 14’ high can

WEEKEND TRAVEL
No travel allowed.
DIVISIBLE LOADS
May be issued by the Commissioner of Transportation, a divisible load permit will be granted
for axle weights and gross weight.
EXCEPTIONS
On loads up to 14’ wide, blade can remain attached if weight can be reduced, it must be hauled separately.
INFORMATION NEEDED TO ORDER WIDELOAD, OVERSIZE AND HEAVY HAUL PERMITS
Load description, origin, destination, routes, tractor make, VIN number, axle weights, bridge (total of all spacings), gross weight, number of axles and overall dimensions.

Restricted Travel
Daylight hours, Monday through Friday, no moves during the peak hours of 6:30-9:00 a.m. and 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Loads 13’6” wide or over 14’ high travel only 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only.
Mobile homes 14’ wide travel 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m Monday through Friday, mobile homes 14’ wide may travel 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m Monday through Friday.
Route 15 – Wilbur Cross Parkway – No commercial vehicles.
I95 travel is restricted to legal gross weight limits and legal axles between the New York State line and New Haven.
SPRING WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS
No restrictions.

Overweight, Oversized & Wideload SuperLoads
Over 16’ wide, 120’ long or 14’ high are considered super loads, anything over 130,000 lbs requires An engineer review, diagrams required, might require steerable dolly.
Applications require 2 weeks to review.
